22 weeks

baby-development-22-weeks-pregnant.jpgWell, 22 weeks and counting. Belly is getting bigger. 2 more weeks until my 24 week appointment, which isn't a big appointment. 3 more months to deliver after that. time has flown I must say. I have enjoyed this pregnancy, but it has been harder on me and it seems I am busier at work and more unable to do things around tracking the progress of my baby. It has been great experiencing this with Parker. He is having a great time. every time I eat something he says they baby is eating it to right...:) Today is my 11 year anniversary. Nothing big going on, just dinner and a movie. We are about to do a lot of work on our house and that is our gift to each other this year. Well, if anyone is interested in knowing week to week what is going on with the baby, you can check out the website:

Click on the link or past it in your URL and you can click on the week I am in and see what is going on.

I was looking on the internet for pictures of baby at 22 weeks and found some disturbing photos. A couple of aborted fetus phots and lots of random women showing their belly at 22 weeks. I wonder if they know their photos are public. Heck are mine? Anyway, I am off to a neighborhood easter egg hunt.

Baby Names....:)

The next natural "to-do" item is finding a name. I am certain that the middle name will be Patrick in honor of Patricia, trey's mom, however I am still searching for the first name. Some candidates so far are below:

Jadon
Kaleb
Hudson
Braden
Kellan
Keenan
Weston

This is tough...

Looking at Bedding and Nusery Themes...

Options for bedding are going well. So far this is the theme I am drawn to. I want nice clean and uniform for this nursery. The search will go one of course, but this is what I will most likely buy. Trey is awaiting a job offer for a company that extended him a job and once that occurs, we will begin work on the house, building storage space and a possible enclosed sun room on our patio, which means, pack up the office and get ready for nursery time. Time is going to fly, so I am anxious to get this started....:)

It's officially a boy! Everything is measuring great!

After an hour and a half wait in the waiting room, and a trip to chick fil a by Trey, we finally got in to see Dr. Uribe and get confirmation that the baby is health and measuring as it should. This wasn't a fun, look at your baby sonogram, it was a serious make sure the heart, brain, bones, spine, etc were there and in the right place. The lady was great in explaining everything and telling us he is measuring great. We were in there for a long time this time. And of course, confirmation that the baby is a boy was made. This one was playing with his you know what with his hand as you can see in the picture next to this text. The arrow is pointing a little lower than where the actual you know what is, but it is there. I am so happy everything is measuring right. Now the fun begins...:) Click on the picture to see a closer view...

My next appointment is at 24 weeks and will be prep work for the 28 week which is the glucose test, and registering for the hospital.

It is time to start taking belly pictures!!

So this is the outfit of choice to show my official baby bump! Had to wait until you could tell it was a baby...:) This is a 20 week depiction of baby 2. Everything is going well. I am certainly not as active or eating as well as I did with Parker, but after all, it is my last baby...when in Rome! Parker is excited and always asks what the baby is saying. He always reminds me that the baby is eating what I am eating. I am a bit more tired and uncomfortable this time, guess because I have more weight with this one. I have been feeling him kick around a lot and am excited to meet him. We are continually on a mission to get Parker up to speed with taking care of himself. Things like wiping his poo poo bottom and bathing himself by himself the right way...He is excited about being a big boy and says "after the baby is here, you will have to do this with him". Needless to say, my 20 week appointment is in a couple of days and I am anxious to receive double confirmation it is a boy and ensure that everything is measuring good.
